Sudan Presidential palace Museum
The museum is located in the grounds of the president’s realm and the very old Palace Cathedral can be explored in the grounds. The museum itself contains a variety of artifacts that date back to when the City was first established. Paintings and cars of former presidents are on display as well.
Changing of the Guard
On the first Friday of every month, tourists can witness the changing of the guard at the southern gate of the Presidential Palace.
Nile Street
Well known as the prettiest street in Khartoum, and arguably the whole of the country, this road has a variety of shops and hotels and one can really get the feel of this City by walking down the street. To top it all off it is on the banks of the beautiful Blue Nile, which just adds more to see on this famous street.
Nile Confluence
After walking down Nile street for 4 kilometers or so you will come to the confluence of the almighty Nile River, where the Blue and White Nile meet. You can see the different colors of the two rivers come together to form one of the most formidable rivers in the World.
