Kenya Airways Resumes flights to Eldoret, strengthening local market presence
20th, March 2024 – Kenya Airways will relaunch its flight services to and from Eldoret starting March 25th, 2024.
Service to Eldoret will resume five days a week, with flights operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Eldoret, renowned for its vibrant economy, attracts both business and leisure travelers alike. Serving as the economic hub of Uasin Gishu, Eldoret is a crucial trading center for various agricultural sectors including grain, dairy, and horticulture.
Kenya Airways, CEO, Allan Kilavuka, emphasized the strategic importance of reinstating flights to Eldoret, citing the airline's dedication to bolstering regional connectivity and facilitating access to global markets.

This addition is part of KQ's ongoing fleet expansion strategy. It underscores the airline's commitment to increase capacity, enhance operational efficiency, and meet the growing demand for air travel across its network. The acquisition of the aircraft from Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) has a capacity of 170 seats, and will immediately boost KQ's available seat inventory, thus offering guests more travel options and flexibility.
