Kenya Airways Partners with Junior Golf Foundation as official travel sponsor

Nairobi, 6th November 2023 - Kenya Airways (KQ), has today announced its partnership with Junior Golf Foundation (JGF) as it further strengthens its commitment to supporting youth development, sports, and community engagement in Kenya. KQ will become the official travel sponsor of JGF events, underscoring its dedication to nurturing young talent in the sport of golf.


The Junior Golf Foundation is renowned for its exceptional work in providing young golf enthusiasts with opportunities to develop their skills, participate in tournaments, and learn valuable life lessons through the sport. 


Commenting on the partnership Julius Thairu, Chief Commercial and Customer Officer said, “We are excited to be part of nurturing the next generation of young golfers and give them more opportunities to pursue their dreams of playing golf at the highest level. Our partnership will facilitate travel for junior golfers to attend both regional and international golf competitions. Therefore, KQ will work with its subsidiary Jambojet to generate a number of varied solutions which can be implemented and scaled to improve sustainability.

Kenya Airways and Delta Air Lines expand codeshare partnership offering customers more travel options across the U.S. and Africa

NAIROBI/ATLANTA, 7 August 2023 – Kenya Airways PLC (KQ) and Delta Air Lines (DL) are announcing an expansion of their strategic partnership with inclusion of Kenya Airways’ nonstop Nairobi to New York operated service, effective 5th August 2023. KQ currently operates a daily service connecting Nairobi to New York, it is the only nonstop flight from East Africa to America. The expanded partnership also offers customers additional travel options within the U.S. and increased flying opportunities within Africa increasing customers' travel options to more than 31 destinations in Africa and 57 cities across the U.S. and Canada. Tickets will be available to purchase from kenya-airways.com as well as through trade and corporate channels including travel agencies.
